As part of the wider remediation project at Giant Mine, 91ÖÆƬ³§ is constructing a new water treatment plant to process arsenic contaminated water from the below-grade mine pools. The project will ensure that water processed through the facility meets the quality requirements set by the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board.
91ÖÆƬ³§'s scope of work includes deep well drilling to access the mine pools, the construction of both raw and treated water pumping and conveyance systems, as well as contaminated soil removal.
